Whether you’re just starting out, tackling a tricky pattern, or stuck on a specific issue, I’m here to help. I specialize in quilts and garments, and I love helping others build their skills and confidence.
Need help finding the right pattern? Not sure which fabric to use? I can assist with pattern selection, fabric sourcing, and offer tips on choosing the best materials for your project. From the first stitch to the final press, I’ll guide you every step of the way.
Want to learn with friends? I can accommodate up to four people at a time, making it a fun and supportive way to learn together!Let’s make sewing fun, approachable, and something you look forward to!
These will be hosted in my home in the Irmo/Chapin SC area.
Depending on number of people and skill level I have put some ideas below and their average estimated time to learn and complete in a workshop setting. This is only an estimation.
zipper pouch ~ 3 hours
tote bag-no lining ~ 4 hours
tote bag-with lining ~ 5 hours
Christmas stocking ~ 4 hours
Christmas stocking with quilted letter ~ 5 hours
Pillow case ~ 3 hours
shorts ~ 4 hours
dress ~ 5 hours
shirt ~ 4 hours
pants ~ 5 hours
basic quilt block (top only) ~ 3 hours
basic quilt block (top/batting/backing/binding) ~ 5 hours
the possibilities are endless
Please don’t let these times discourage you! You will get faster with time and a lot of this time estimation is instruction, trial and error, and perfecting your craft.
I charge the following:
1 person- hourly rate of $20
2 people- hourly rate of $30
3 people- hourly rate of $35
4 people- hourly rate of $ 40
+
any supplies I provide (cloth/zipper/interfacing/stabilizer/pattern/etc)

Sewing Machine Rental $ 15 per person (this helps with the cost of the machine and the yearly maintenance) not charged if you bring your own machine.
Deposit will be subtracted from total. Please provide greater than 24 hr notice of moving workshop date or time.
